It's the FIRST #ManiMonday of March and I decided to brighten everything up with this beautiful azure blue from Bourjois Paris. You've probably seen me wear it before for a previous #ManiMonday & that is because I think it's fabulous!
Unfortunately I wasn't able to brighten up the weather to match my nails; we even had SNOW! I'm really looking forward to some sunshine & warmth. I was supposed to be at a style shoot today which was cancelled due to bad weather, so bring on Spring!
Let me know what you think of this week's #ManiMonday & if you're on twitter or instagram make sure you show me yours! Fingers crossed for warmer weather soon.

Every now and then a new brand will come along that will sound so amazing that I just have to share them with you. I'm not asked to do this, I don't receive any compensation (monetary, product or otherwise), it's just something I choose to do, so that you get to know about them too! That's fair right?
Trésor Rare are new to the UK after great success in the USA, they've made their debut in London on South Molton St, Mayfair. All their products contain dead sea minerals & plant stem cells.
They were a finalist in the HBA (Health Beauty America) Prestige Perfume Category in 2014, and they also gifted their products to Victoria Beckham & Eva Longoria at the Global Gift Gala last year as well.
Trésor Rare not only offer skincare products, they also offer treatments at their boutique where you can enjoy a glass of champagne in a private treatment room while you are pampered. The treatments range from skin relaxor thermal masks to exfoliating cream cleansers. They are composed of gemstones, exfoliating diamond dust & deep water pearls; all of which leave your skin feeling supple & soft.
You can read more about Trésor Rare and their products here.
I don't make it to London very often, but the next time I'm there I will definitely be booking myself in to the Trésor Rare boutique & I'm hoping it won't be too long before I get myself there!!
Even their products look amazing, so think what they could achieve!
Let me know what you think about Trésor Rare, will you be trying them out for yourself?

I'm really excited about sharing with you today's review. Now I hadn't heard of Zuzka before, but thanks to the wonderful bloggers hub I was given the chance to try out their Rose Petal Cleansing Milk (from their Botanicals collection).
Those of you who have followed this site for a while will know that I am always on the hunt for a good cleanser that is not only effective, but also gentle enough not to aggravate my occasionally sensitive skin.
Zuzka's Botanical Rose Petal Cleansing Milk is formulated specifically for mature and sensitive skin so you know that it will be gentle on your face. It contains organic rose essential oil and rose petal infusion, which gives it a gorgeous floral scent.
This cleansing milk really makes you feel like you're pampering yourself, every single time you use it. It's so thick and creamy, and creates a gorgeous lather that you can feel is cleansing and soothing your skin. It leaves your face clean, moisturised and soft; which makes it perfect for starting the day or calming yourself down before bed.
I can confirm that it doesn't irritate sensitive skin, and it really does cleanse. It even removes stubborn makeup which is fantastic! I've been using it for a few days, and noticed a definite improvement in my skin; which was definitely needed as it's been quite problematic as I've had a few breakouts due to being ill and stuck indoors (and eating chocolate ssh!).
I would definitely recommend you try this cleanser out for yourself, especially if you have sensitive (or mature) skin. Plus you get the bonus of it smelling, literally, of roses! Beautiful.
You can buy Zuzka's Botanical Rose Petal Cleansing Milk from their site here for £20 for 150ml.
Let me know what you think, and whether or not you're interested in trying this product out for yourself. You can get in touch in the comments below, on twitter, on instagram, by sending me an email or using the contact form.

It's the first #ManiMonday of February, and I am so fed up of winter! It's so cold here (if you follow me on twitter you'll know I moan about this a lot, sorry)!
So in an attempt to make things a bit brighter and cheer myself up after being so ill last week, I've bucked the usual winter trend and I've gone for this lovely pastel green. Isn't it gorgeous?
I hadn't used this colour before, but I've fallen in love with it as it's so fresh! It's definitely going to be a favourite of mine from now on, particularly when the warmer weather eventually arrives.
I actually looked for a mint green last summer and I couldn't find one, so I'm glad I've got my hands on one now! I won't spend the whole summer searching this year.
As you can see this shade is called "I SHOP MINTAGE" and it is part of the Nicole by OPI collection. You can find it (and a whole load of other fab shades) here.
This wonderful shade has really brightened up my day, as it's been cold & gloomy here! Perfect #ManiMonday if you ask me <3
Let me know what you think about the colour I've chosen this week in the comments below, on twitter, or on instagram.
Stay safe, and look out of next week's #ManiMonday x
So first things first, a big thank you to the lovely polkadots for nominating me. Make sure you head over to her page and have a read!
I have to admit I'd never heard of the Liebster Award before (and I've been around a while!), so I've learnt something new at least. The Liebster Award is designed to help bloggers get to know a little bit more about each other. The rules of the award are:
Right time to answer the questions I was set by polkadots.
Q1. You have to give up either lipsticks OR mascara for life, which do you chose?
I would give up lipstick over mascara. Simply because I normally choose to focus on my eyes instead anyway. So as long as I can still use lip-balm to stop them getting chapped, I'm happy!
Q2. What was the last film you went to see at the cinema and did you enjoy it?
Oh Jesus, I don't go very often! The last film I saw at the cinema was Rush I think.. I loved it, as my Dad was a racing driver & raced with both James Hunt & Nikki Lauda.
Q3. What is your biggest makeup fail?
Ha! I wore thick turquoise eyeliner once... never again!
Q4. What is your current favourite foundation and why?
I'm currently using, and loving, Maybelline's Better Skin foundation. As strange as it might sound, I really like the smell! It also matches my skin-tone perfectly and I think it is improving my skin slowly.
Q5. What is your biggest makeup chore and why?
Removing nail polish. Eurgh. I love putting it on, but hate taking it off!
Q6. Who is the one person on Earth you want to meet and why?
I can't think of anyone, I've met the people I wanted too. I'd probably say that I'd like to meet Angelina Jolie, simply because I think she's a great inspiration to women.
Q7. Name something really embarrassing that's happened to you in your life!
Something really embarrassing? That I want to share with the internet? Hm.. Can I get back to you on that!?!
Q8. What is your guilty pleasure song?
I don't have one. If I like something why should I feel guilty about it?
Q9. Where is your favourite place to eat out (McDonald's doesn't count!)
I don't have a favourite place to eat.. there are lots of places I like (mainly Italian restaurants) but not one certain favourite.
Q10. Did you make any New Years Resolutions and did you stick to them?
My only New Years Resolution was to be kinder and more understanding with my family & friends. I've done my best to stick to them, but you'd have to ask them if I've been successful!
Q11. Are you a red, nude or pink lipstick wearer?
I don't wear lipstick too often, I prefer lip-balm. But I choose nude shades over any other. I have a really love pink from Maybelline though which I tend to wear more in summer.
So those are my answers.. feel free to let me know yours in the comments below!

I'm sure we all know that it can be really difficult to find the time and space to workout, wherever we are! But it can become 10x harder when you are away from home; you don't have your equipment, you probably don't have a lot of space and you might feel slightly less motivated.
I've struggled through this myself and came up with a few simple exercises to keep me from feeling sluggish due to lack of exercise when I'm away from home. I've tried and tested them myself so I know the work. So I was thrilled when SACO asked me to contribute to their new workout guide for people staying in hotel rooms, serviced apartments, etc when away from home.
You can find the entire guide here:
http://www.sacoapartments.com/blog/how_to_keep_fit_when_away_from_home if you scroll down a bit you'll find my contribution, but make sure you read the others as well!
I would have loved to have included some photos, but as most of you know things have been really hectic and I (& my family) haven't been very well either!
Let me know what you think & tell me if you have any go-to travel exercises of you own!
Stay safe, x
It's #WishlistWednesday again, the last one for January! This wishlist was supposed to be up last week, but if you follow me on twitter you'll know I've been quite unwell!
This week's #WishlistWednesday comes from Lavand, a fantastic brand with some truly gorgeous pieces. They originally come from Madrid, which probably explains my newfound love for them!
As usual I chose my 6 favourite pieces, which you can see above & read about below:
As always let me know what you think about my picks, let me know if you've used Lavand before & what you think! You can get in touch in the usual ways: comment below, tweet me, email me, use the contact form or find me on instagram!

Now I think it's important to start off by saying I've never used a blending sponge for my foundation before. I've used a brush for years so this was a very new experience for me & I had absolutely no idea what I was doing, a complete beginner with this form of application!
The Nanshy Marvel 4 in 1 Makeup Blending Sponge is uniquely designed to make applying your makeup as easy and flawless as possible. It has 4 surfaces, rather than the usual 3, which means it can do just about everything you need for you to achieve the perfect base.
The sponge is latex-free, cruelty free, odour free and non-allergenic, so suitable for the most sensitive of skin! I'm particularly glad that it's odour free as some makeup sponges smell awful but this doesn't!
It's also super-easy to clean, due to it's micro-pore formulation (which you can see below). Like most sponges you should clean after every use, so more often than brushes. But I found it quick and simple, I just washed it with baby shampoo as I do with all other beauty "tools" and it looks as good as new again.
Now on to the really important part, using it to apply makeup! As I said I've never used one before, so I had no idea what I was doing, but I found it pretty simple to get the hang of, so don't be put off trying it for the first time! The steps for applying are really simple:
I found the Nanshy Marvel 4 in 1 Makeup Blending Sponge really easy to use, and it really does get your makeup looking flawless, with an almost airbrushed effect.
I've been using a foundation brush for years but now I'm going to be putting that in a drawer and using this, it's made that much of a difference! I'd definitely recommend you get your hands on one, it's only £5.95!
You can buy your own direct from Nanshy here. All of Nanshy's products are 100% cruelty free which is fantastic and all great value too!
You can see some more photos of the Nanshy Marvel 4 in 1 Makeup Blending Sponge below.
I really, honestly recommend you try out the Nanshy Marvel 4 in 1 Makeup Blending Sponge for yourself, you won't regret it!
Let me know how you apply your makeup in the comments below, on twitter or instagram. You know I love to hear from you!
Stay safe, x
So today is my birthday! Thank you for all of the lovely messages by the way! It's also #ManiMonday..
I went a bit sparkle crazy this week, as you can see. All the products I used are in the photo below:
I really like my nails this week, they took quite a while to do because I had to wait for the different glitters to try, but I love the way they sparkle. I don't think I'm going to make it a regular thing, just for special occasions.
I hope you all stay safe and warm in the week ahead!
It's pretty cold outside so I've gone for a frosty look on my nails as well for this week's #ManiMonday.
The colour is called Milky Way (629) and it's part of the Stardust range from GOSH.
It takes a couple of coats to get a really good finish, but I didn't use a base coat or a top coat, and I'm really happy with the end result! It has a really lovely subtle sparkle to it, which is perfect for brightening up your nails on these gloomy days.
More photos below..
Stay safe & stay warm lovelies, x
