4x3 references the new 3D Tri-Axis sensor which measures and records your movement on the Y axis, the X axis and the Z axis for extra accuracy.
The pedometer can record up to 1 million steps; it has a 7 day memory; and it tracks distance, speed and calories burnt. It also boasts 3 recording modes, a blue back-light for night-time viewing, split screen display, auto sleep mode, a sports timer, a clock and a calendar.
I've found the 4x3 motion digital pedometer to be easy to use, easy to carry (I'm fairly certain it will fit into any pocket with it's slim design and lanyard), and simple to program.
It accurately recorded my steps, distance, speed and as far as I can tell, how many calories I've burnt.
It comes with a 1 year warranty, easy to follow programming instructions, a very useful screwdriver (to change the battery, which comes included) and it is also endorsed by Evan Kimber, 100 mile Ultra Runner Champion.
I've had absolutely no problems using it, and I now pick it up every morning and put it straight into my pocket without giving it a second thought.
The 4x3motion digital pedometer from Ozeri is perfect if you're just starting to walk/run more, if you're already doing this exercise regularly, or even if you're looking for a Christmas gift for a fitness fiend.
I would definitely recommend this pedometer, it is so useful to know just how much exercise you're doing (often without even realizing).
You can buy the Ozeri 4x3motion Digital Pocket 3D Pedometer with Tri-Axis Technology from Amazon.co.uk for £15.95 (RRP £39.99)
